  The National Council on International Trade Development (NCITD) is a nonprofit organization that has been promoting international trade   
  documentary simplification since 1967. It was an early proponent of electronic documentation, particularly the EDIFACT electronic data interface.   
  In its heyday, it ran huge conferences with Fortune 100 participants and attendees. Then, suddenly, it petered out in 1994 after relocating from
