requirements of FDA. This is coordinated with the Baltimore FDA District to
determine what FDA may be looking for if the subsequent shipment is selected
for examination. Other matters of possible FDA concern are the scrutiny of
this pre-review as well. In going through such a pre-review procedure, FDA and the importer open a dialog BEFORE the shipment arrives, possibly averting sample detentions or compliance problems once the shipment arrives in port. |
